All packages are dispatched from our smiley workshop in beautiful Papamoa (Bay of Plenty). 

From dispatch, delivery typically takes 1-3 business days, depending on location. In most cases delivery is next business day. Although we’d love to guarantee a delivery date, we rely on our awesome courier supplier (NZ Post) to get our boxes delivered around NZ in a speedy fashion.

You’ll always know where your Smile Box is – we email the tracking code directly to you once shipped.

If you’re wanting a box for a specific date in the future, we recommend choosing to specify an open date when ordering. We’ll add a tag to the outside of the box requesting the recipient not to open it until your specified date.

If NZ Post haven't picked up the package, we can usually catch it and change the address ourselves before it leaves our workshop.

If the package has already been dispatched, you can usually change the address yourself on the package NZ Post tracking page. Please see your dispatch email for the link to your package's NZ Post tracking page.

By default, no. The courier driver will leave in a safe location (e.g. by the front door or in the letterbox) if no one is home.

The only exception is our Smile Boxes containing alochol, as the courier driver requires ID (if the recipient looks under 25) before physically handing over the package. If no one is home, a calling card will be left.

Our standard Smile Boxes (non-alcohol ones) can be sent to PO Boxes as they do not require a signature to leave them.

Our Smile Boxes containing alcohol cannot be sent to PO Boxes as they require a signature upon delivery.

We can send any boxes overseas except ones containing alcohol or gift vouchers.

Delivery to Australia is by Economy Tracked Delivery (6-12 business days from dispatch) - from $12
